Client Accounting Specialist

Becca Farrell’s path to accounting is anything but conventional—and that’s a big part of what makes her perspective so valuable. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Religion, and spent the early years of her career working in FDA-regulated laboratory environments, first in Nebraska and later in Colorado. When a career pivot led her manager to offer her an administrative and bookkeeping role, he invested in her development by sponsoring a dual Master’s program. Becca went on to earn both an MBA and an MS in Accounting, and spent a decade building deep expertise before ultimately seeking a role that offered more balance and more time with her family. That search led her to OBI—now RWM & Company—where she has been a loyal, dedicated member of the team for over 12 years.

In her role as Client Accounting Specialist, Becca handles bookkeeping, transaction categorization, bill payment, reconciliations, payroll processing, and client meetings. She is QBO certified and brings a scientist’s precision to keeping her clients’ books clean and ready for tax season. She is known for being highly responsive, flexible with her availability, and genuinely invested in her clients’ success—even willing to meet at unconventional hours when the need arises.

Though Becca works remotely from Arizona, she is a fully engaged member of the RWM & Company team and values every connection she has built, even at a distance.

Outside of work, life revolves around her daughters. She logs over two hours of driving daily to support her daughter’s gymnastics career, traveling to out-of-state meets from January through April. When she finds a quiet moment, she reads, tends to her growing rose bush collection, and keeps up with the Chicago franchise of TV dramas. She also has aspirations of reviving her vegetable garden—maybe next year.
