Manager of Client Onboarding

Michelle Jackson came to accounting by a roundabout path—she originally enrolled in college to become an RN, but when the wait for clinicals was over a year away, she pivoted. She found accounting, and it found her right back. Nearly a decade later, she is an Accounting Manager at RWM & Company, leading a team, onboarding clients, and helping businesses create the financial processes they need to thrive.

Michelle holds an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, an Intuit QuickBooks Level 2 ProAdvisor Certification, and an Intuit Bookkeeping Certification. She is especially proud of her growth at the firm—starting in accounting and evolving into a leadership role where she guides both staff and clients. She stays current with emerging tools, including AI, and is passionate about finding ways to integrate technology to improve efficiency and better serve clients.

To Michelle, great work means giving clients accurate financials they can actually use—and making the onboarding experience smooth enough that they feel set up for success from day one. She’s approachable, relationship-driven, and wants every person she works with to feel genuinely supported.

Life outside work is beautifully busy. Her husband is her high school sweetheart, and they’re celebrating over 20 years together. Their oldest son Deven, who recently graduated college with a degree in Criminal Justice, is a bilateral below-the-knee amputee who has never once let that slow him down—placing at states twice for wrestling and keeping his mom endlessly inspired. Younger son Bentley, 15, is a wrestler with an old soul and enough energy to fill a room. Add two pugs, a German Shepherd, and a boat, and you have a family that’s always moving—and Michelle wouldn’t have it any other way.
