Advisory & Tax Client Manager

Jolene Tennent’s entry into the accounting world began with a tax preparation class at her local retail tax preparation office.  She went on to complete a CPA exam certificate program at her local community college, gained experience through multiple tax season internships, and eventually secured full-time employment in the industry.  She is currently working towards her CPA license.

As a Client Manager at RWM & Company, Jolene assists individuals and clients with their tax and accounting needs.  She loves sharing knowledge— whether that means walking a client through a complex tax situation or helping a colleague think through a problem. She wants every person she works with to feel valued and heard.

She is also involved in her community.  For four years, she served as a substitute teaching leader for BSF International’s Silver Spring MD evening women’s class- leading discussions and delivering lectures.  She would describe her approach to life as someone who is fair, just, compassionate, loyal, and humble.

Outside of the office, Jolene enjoys swimming, walking, and watching baseball.
