Jill Winter

Director of Operations

Jill Winter has spent the past decade becoming one of the most well-rounded professionals in the accounting industry—not as an accountant, but as someone who helps accounting firms run better in every other way. Her background began in marketing, and over the years she has worked as a marketing director, a practice management software specialist, and a coach and consultant for accounting firm owners. Each role deepened her understanding of what it takes for a firm to grow, and brought her closer to where she feels most at home: working inside a firm, alongside the people doing the work.

At RWM & Company, Jill serves as Senior Manager of Operations, helping ensure the firm runs smoothly and continues to grow. She is coaching certified and brings a calm, thoughtful, and empathetic presence to her role—colleagues describe as a stabilizing force and a creative problem-solver. She is proud of the career path she has built and, more personally, of the work she has done on herself to become the person and professional she is today.

Outside of work, Jill enjoys camping, hiking, playing cards, trivia, gardening, painting, and spending time with her family. She is also, by her own account, excellent at organization—which, in her line of work, is anything but a useless skill, though her husband may disagree when he can’t find something that she recently re-organized.
