Amy Kershner’s connection to accounting is a family affair—her father is a CPA with his own practice in Baltimore, and she began working alongside him in the early 2000s. When she relocated to Frederick, MD, she joined Offutt & Associates, building on that foundation and continuing to grow professionally. She has since brought both roles with her to RWM & Company, serving as both Client Manager and Staff Accountant.

Over the course of nearly three decades in the industry, Amy has earned her Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees while working full time, becoming a well-rounded professional with broad-ranging capabilities in tax preparation and bookkeeping. She describes her approach as eager, efficient, and genuinely enjoyable—she wants every day to feel good, and she works hard to make it that way for her clients and colleagues too.

Amy is warm, patient, and personable by nature, and she takes pride in being someone people can count on—a down-to-earth team player with a friendly personality and a real desire to help. She hopes people walk away remembering her as hardworking and approachable.

Life outside work is full of things she loves: dinners and shopping with friends, long walks with her dog, and quality time with family. She also claims to be unbeatable at cornhole.
